The Knowledge of India is a vast subject that begins with the Vedas and is deeply woven into our everyday lives. From the timeless past to the endless cycle of Samsara (the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth), we often wonder about our place in this immense world.

This ancient wisdom guides us to focus on the present and to act with the best of our abilities. By doing so, we can create a future that is secure and filled with love, both for ourselves and for those around us.

Before every session of learning, the following invocation is sung or spoken:

Peace Invocation

ॐ सह नाववतु। सह नौ भुनक्तु।

May we both be protected; may we both be nourished;

सह वीर्यं करवावहै।

May we work together with great vigor;

तेजस्वि नावधीतमस्तु। मा विद्विषावहै।

May our intellect be sharpened; may we never engage in conflict;

ॐ शान्तिः! शान्तिः!! शान्तिः!!!

Aum, peace, peace, peace.
Aum saha nāvavatu, saha nau bhunaktu,
saha vīryaṁ karavāvahai,
tejasvi nāv-adhītam-astu, mā vidvisā-vahai.
Aum śāntiḥ! śāntiḥ!! śāntiḥ!!!
